KS2 may wear a tracksuit for outdoor activities. All items of P.E. wear should be kept in a simple drawstring ‘pump bag’ on the child’s peg in the cloakroom area.

No jewelry should be worn for physical activity. Health and Safety guidelines must be followed e.g. during swimming lessons.

All items of clothing should be clearly marked with the child’s name.

For reasons of safety children should not wear jewelry in school. Children with pierced ears should wear only one small flat stud in the lobe of the ear in school. Studs or rings may not be worn in any other part of the body.

We encourage the children to take a pride in their appearance and ask you to ensure that hairstyles are tidy and appropriate for the age of the child. Long hair should be tied back. Please encourage your child to brush or comb his/her hair regularly and check through your child’s hair each night. Take appropriate action and inform the school if you discover nits or lice. Please ask at the office for further information.
